Whether you ice fish or not that is ok, our intention is to facilitate those looking for something new to do and to provide the experienced with the coolest Ice fishing shacks available. Whether it’s a day use or an overnight rental, we have created a turn key ice fishing experience that enables anybody to get out and try it with ease. We set up on the great fishery at Wabamun Lake which is conveniently located on the Yellowhead Highway 45 minutes west of Edmonton Alberta. All you need to do is pack your food, clothing and bedding as everything else is taken care of for you. You will show up and our rep will have the shack cleaned, heated, ice fishing holes drilled, TV’s tuned in with the underwater camera and the satellite, fishing lines tied, BBQ setup and fuels full ready for your consumption. You will then go through a quick shack orientation and that’s it, you are ice fishing within half hour.

All you need to bring is Food, Beverages, Bedding and your Ultimate Winter Ice Fishing Experience will be set as the rest is taken care of for you!!

Man Cave IceBase

The Icebase is our newest addition to our day use offerings and is designed to be an economical base point for groups that are heading out for the day either truck or tent fishing. Now you don’t have to worry about the weather if you want to head out for the day as you will be setup under cover. These units are for groups that have the gear and just need to be out of the elements. Simply setup your chairs, BBQ, propane fire pit and what ever else you bring along and enjoy yourself inside the shelter watching your lines. This is a great way to economically get out with a shelter and enjoy the lake with a large group!

Man Cave IcePub

Grab your buddy and make your way over to the IcePub for a day’s worth of ice fishing. If your buddy can’t make it and you’re still feeling the urge, head on over anyways, it’ll be hard not too strike up a conversation in this social atmosphere. The IcePub is ideal for birthday parties and private functions as well. It’s first come first serve so be sure to book early!

Man Cave Iceloft

Our IceLofts offer different experiences based upon the group booking. These units are ideal for special events, client relations, and of course the ultimate boys or gals trip!! So rally up the crew, pack the coolers and hit the highway!!! You’ll realize a couple hours into the trip, that this experience is a contender for an annual winter ritual!!

Man Cave IceDen

The IceDen is the little sibling to our IceLofts and it is geared towards smaller groups of 2-3 adult quests for overnight bookings. We host a couple of our specialty offerings out of the IceDen. The family experience and the coolest date night ever operate out of the IceDen. Whether you book a specialty offering, day use or an evening with a couple of friends, the experience will surely be memorable!

We offer family packages for immediate family members only instead of children pricing.

Overnight:
Check in is 1pm, and check out is 11am.

Day use:
AM Slot - 10am-2pm
PM Slot - 2:30-6:30pm
Full Day - 10am-6pm

Due to cleaning and maintenance early check ins and late check outs aren’t easily accommodated.

We will meet you at the shore launch and direct you to your cabin

All you need is your food, beverages, bait and bedding. We have what to pack lists as well to help you out.

Unfortunately, no. Our units are not hosting event spaces and are guest specific. As well, each individual that enters one of our units is required to fill out a waiver form for insurance purposes

Due to the nature of our units we are unable to accommodate pets.

Most definitely! We require that fires are in steel pits raised off the ice and on the south side of our shacks. Ash and other firewood debris is to be cleaned by the guest

There are: Walleye, Northern Pike, Burbot and Whitefish

All people fishing between the ages of 16 – 65 require a licence.

Yes! Now you can keep 5 whitefish 2 Burbot and 2 Walleye with a Class C tag

No fish cleaning of any kind is permitted in, on or near the vicinity of the cabins. All guts and debris are the responsibility of the guest to dispose of. No fish guts are allowed in any garbage’s in, on or near the cabin.

To secure your booking date we process 100% of the booking fee upfront. We then process a damage deposit 48hr prior to check in via an automated reminder email.
