BoonDockin’ Fish Glamp @ Lesser Slave Lake

Dokcyde’s experiential outdoor rec and glamp debut into the summer season is a beauty.  We’re providing the back drop for one of your greatest fishing experiences ever!  Our turn key fish glamps are Located on Lesser Slake and they are situated on 0.25 acre off grid lots powered by solar and back up generators.  In true Dokcyde style all our lots are turn key offerings all the way down to the lawn chairs and the wiener roasting sticks, except for the boat, you have to bring your own.  That being said though, the marina is two minutes away and a berth for your boat is included in your rental!!!  Think  of this for a second, before you even check in at camp you head straight to the marina, dump your boat in the marina, park your trailer, then head back to camp without your boat trailer for check in…can it get any easier??

Our Glamp sites come with modern camper, a full-on Outdoor kitchen, Fry Shack, Rec shack, games area and a firepit on each lot.  Our campers accommodate 4 or adults or young family up to 6. The Outdoor Kitchen comes with flat top griddle and a BBQ and all the utensils’ dishes and everything you need to keep yourselves fed.  A Fry shack for the infamous fish fry. The Rec Shack provides a cool space to chill and play while the firepite enables you to kick back for the evening and It all comes with the camp games and some cool water toys.

Autumn Ridge Campers

These modern campers will provide the comforts needed to rest up and be prepared for the early morning fish!  Our late model units come equipped with everything needed to facilitate your washroom and sleeping needs.  Albeit most of the time spent in these units will be for sleeping or freshening up, the stylish comforts will make provide a relaxing environment.  With a queen jack knife bed, a set of double wide double bunks, and a dinette drop bed area, your groups accommodation needs will be comfortably met.

Fish Glamp Outdoor Kitchen

Our Outdoor Kitchen’s are 10’x16’ covered structures with a modern outdoor design that aligns with our unique glamping style.  The kitchen is setup so the culinary aspect of you excursion is an experience in itself.  It’s fully stocked with all the utensil’s you’ll rock the flat top griddle and BBQ like a pro!  Want to make smash burgers for dinner? We have the tool for that!   Want to sauté your veg on the flat top while your protein is grilling on the BBQ, do it!  How about breaky on the flat top while your coffee is perk ‘in on the BBQ side burner?  Now how about running water for the dishes and clean up in the kitchen?  Not bad for an off-grid lot hey?

Fish Glamp Rec Shacks

Like our Outdoor Kitchen’s, our Rec Shacks are 10’x16’ covered structures with a modern outdoor design that aligns with our unique glamping style.  Our Rec Shacks and our Outdoor kitchen for that matter provide covered shelter spaces which will keep you entertained and out of the elements for the times mother nature decides it time for some unfavourable weather.  Whether you just wrpapped up your morning fish, or just need out of the sun, or the group is in a full-on dart tourney, the space will provide endless hours of games and interaction and shelter for the whole group.  With a cool built-in bar, you’ll never to be to far from a re-fill when competition from the camp games start to heat up.  Whether it’s poker night or a cornhole round robin the Rec Shack will more than likely turn into the command center of your trip when you’re not fishing or cookin’.

Spruce Point Marina Berth

You won’t be able to beat having a berth at the marina for the duration of your stay?  No more launching and loading your boat, then hauling it back to camp each time you go for a fish.  How does this sound? you can literally go for the morning fish,  mid day play and evening fish, head back to camp in between and after all without loading or hauling your boat.   The time savings and convenience  of the berth will allow you to get on the water and be fishing in no time.  Our berths are on the south shore of the marina providing relaxing boat parking experience and south area vehicle and trailer parking

Fire Pit

A classic must have to any outdoor adventure must be the firepit.  We had some really cool pits fabricated for us and we know you’ll enjoy them.  It’s pretty tough to beat camp fire roasted smoky to sooth a little mid day tummy rumble or a night cap smore for a snack when your sweet tooth calls your name in the evening.  Our pits come ready to go just like any other Dokcyde feature.  You don’t even need to pack camping chairs as we have them ready for you also!

Fry Shack

Unfortunately, for insurance purposes we cannot provide guests with a fryer for fish fry’s as they’re quite dangerous in all reality.  So, what we did do though is we built a steel and tin contained structure for you to use if you want bring your own fryer. Please note you will need to bring a propane bottle as our sites are ran off of pigs and you won’t be able to disconnect them to use for your fryer

**Please note if you do not have any experience operating a deep fryer, this is not the place to try or learn. Experienced people only as fryers represent a legitimate fire hazard and we are in a wooded area with other campers and property around us.

**Used fryer oil to be poured back into the sealed container it came in before being discarded.  No pouring on the ground or washroom facility or down the sink

Do you have the curiosity to check out some the local attractions?  Albeit our location is little remote, we are not in the middle of nowhere by no means.  The town of Kinuso is not even 10min away where we can find pretty much anything you will require if you forgot something, that being said the Kinuso Mercantile is shopping experience in and of itself and a must do!!  As well the Kinasayo museum will provide insight  into the area between the wildlife and history of the region.  Spruce Point Day Park is right beside the marina and offers a whole host of Lake activities  including:

– Public Beach-picnic tables-fire pits-playground for all ages-mini put-basketball nets-Beautiful nature trail. –

– A Pet Beach is available for those guests with pets, Ask the staff at the gatehouse where the pet beach is located. –

Public Beach to relax and play with the water toys!

Shooting hoops or a game of horse never hurts at the beach

A. A young family of up to 6. A group of 4 adults or family of 2 parents and 3 teenager children

A. With the optional tent fee the occupancy of the lot is 6 people. Our quest RV lot capacity is 6 (tent fee required) plus capacity of guest RV.  Additional RV guests to use services on their RV(non-serviced parking) Maximum 2 vehicle parking per site

A. Check in is 2pm and check out is 11am. Is there early check in or late check out?

Due to cleaning and maintenance early check ins and late check outs aren’t easily accommodated

A. You proceed directly to your lot using the directions provided in your booking forms link.

A. A list will be provided in your booking email, but essentially it is food, beverages, bedding bait and boat.

A. Yes, the hamlet of Kinuso is 10min away.

A. Max occupancy per site is 6 people and 2 vehicles. We have one site where an add on rv parking option is available.

A. Pets are allowed outside only and must be on leash at all times. Zero tolerance policy for pets inside the campers. Owners are to clean up after their dog.  Fee’s will be charged if not followed.

A. Most definitely! Fire must be responsibly managed (no bonfire type fires) All fire ban rules to be adhered to.

A. Firewood is stocked onsite and billed per usage…like a stocked mini fridge at a hotel. Or guests can bring their own.

A. Yes, please be respectful when in the development, watch for pedestrians and keep speeds to 20km/h

A. Walleye, northern pike, lake whitefish, yellow perch, burbot, mountain whitefish, goldeye and arctic grayling

A. All people fishing between the ages of 16 – 65 require a licence.

A. Yes, please review the current regulations for limits

A. There is a fish cleaning station at the marina. Absolutely no fish cleaning at camp

A. Most definitely! Additional charges will be applied accordingly
